Writers & Artists: Submission Guidelines
If you’re just arriving at this page, first have a look at the Summary and Welcome Message to get some background on Extraordinarium Digital Press. Use the menu to the right to navigate through the contents. Imaginative Works Note: Call for Submissions closed until mid-2015. Within the realm of fiction and/or non-fiction, Extraordinarium Digital Press invites imaginative works that can be translated into digital format. We are especially interested in pushing the boundaries of the ebook format to publish graphically-rich digital works, and perhaps incorporate multimedia and intermedia (e.g. audio, video, motion, gaming, etc.) elements into our works. Proposals on imaginative works that explore the themes outlined in the non-fiction  and fiction guidelines are welcomed. At the moment, we will begin publishing graphic storybooks. Drawing on the illustrated childrens’ book format, these books aim to entertain readers with mature sensibilities, whatever their age. (Basically 13+.) We are working to develop formats that will translate widely across third-party distribution platforms (e.g. Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Barnes & Nobles), with the potential to develop “deluxe graphic editions” exclusively sold on Extraordinarium’s website. If you are a photographer, graphic artist, comic artist, illustrator, or other type of artist, and are interested in publishing in “storybook” or “graphic novel” form, we welcome your proposal!
